Manufacturing Process
Spaform have been successfully manufacturing hot tubs and spas in the UK since 1993 and are internationally recognised as the UK & Europe's largest manufacturer of hot tubs.

Manufactured in Portsmouth UK, each Spaform hot tub is hand built to exacting specifications by their team of highly skilled craftsmen. Specifically designed and built for the UK & European marketplace Spaform's world class manufacturing standards ensures that their hot tubs are always of the highest quality and durability.
All Spaform spas are manufactured from a seamless acrylic sheet using a vacuum thermoforming process on custom built machines. Using a spray application mixed with a pre-accelerated resin the shells are then reinforced with laminated layers of glass fibre. This process is exclusive to Spaform in the UK and was specifically developed for spa bath applications with input from highly qualified Spaform Engineers.
The spa is then encapsulated with a high density foam to provide heat and sound insulation and to minimise heat loss for maximum energy saving. Any excess acrylic is then carefully trimmed to ensure the best it when the spa is assembled within the cabinet. From here the spa is set for drilling, using specifically designed shock-absorbent drill bits, with all jet faces being machined to ensure a watertight sealing. Using the highest quality plumbing components available, expert plumbers then fit all internal pipe work.
 Jets are then inserted, internal components are fixed into position and pumps, heaters, air blowers, touch-pads and head cushions are all fitted. Final connection of the plumbing to its equipment and controls takes place allowing sufficient time for all glues and silicones to fully cure before the commencement of testing.
Before leaving the factory every hot tub is fully tested. This procedure is carried out on the main test bay area and the hot tub is filled with water. Each hot tub then undergoes a fully functional and rigorous quality and safety testing which, ensures that the spa not only operates correctly and to its maximum capability but also that safety standards have been met and recorded.
Finally each spa is carefully packaged and then ready for delivery to you in pristine condition.
